Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 1, 2026

Cindy Alexis ("I," "me," or "my") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information I collect when you visit cindyalexis.com or its pages, register for Tuesday Tech Day or another session, book or purchase a service, or contact me, and how I use and protect it.

1. Information I Collect

Information you give me, such as:

  • Your name and email address
  • Details you submit on a registration or contact form, including a description of a technical problem you'd like help with and the tools involved
  • Your email preferences
  • Purchase and booking details for paid services
  • Messages you send me

Information collected automatically. My website and technology providers may collect limited technical information, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring site, and date and time of visit. This may happen through cookies, server logs, and similar tools.

Payment information. Payments are handled by third-party processors. I do not receive or store your full card number.

2. How I Use Your Information

  • To register you for sessions and send your Zoom link, reminders, and follow-up
  • To review help requests and choose which problems to work on in a live session
  • To provide, schedule, and deliver services you book or buy
  • To respond to your questions and requests
  • To improve my sessions, services, and website
  • To send future invitations and updates, only if you opted in
  • To meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations

3. Email Communications

Registering for a session means you'll receive emails related to that session, such as your access link and reminders. Ongoing marketing emails, such as future Tuesday Tech Day invitations and updates, are sent only if you check the opt-in box. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email. Unsubscribing does not stop messages needed to deliver something you registered for or purchased.

4. Live Sessions, Livestreams, and Screen Sharing

Public livestream. The demonstration portion of Tuesday Tech Day is streamed publicly to platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook. Comments you post on those platforms are public and governed by those platforms' policies. Zoom participants are asked to keep cameras off during the livestream.

Private help session. The troubleshooting portion that follows on Zoom is not streamed or recorded by me. Other participants in the room can see and hear what is shared.

Protect your own information. Before sharing your screen, close anything showing passwords, payment details, client information, or other sensitive data. I will never ask for your login credentials. Please do not submit passwords, financial account numbers, or Social Security numbers through my forms or email.

5. How I Share Information

I do not sell or rent your personal information. I share it only as reasonably necessary with providers who help me run my business, such as:

  • My CRM, form, and email platform (GoHighLevel)
  • My website hosting provider
  • Zoom and the livestream platforms named above
  • Payment processors
  • Accounting, legal, and other professional advisors

These providers handle information under their own privacy and security practices. I may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of my business, clients, or others.

6. Cookies and Third-Party Content

My pages may use cookies and include embedded content from third parties, such as forms, videos, or scheduling and payment tools. These may collect information under their own policies. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Data Retention

I keep personal information as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, and for legitimate business, legal, tax, and recordkeeping needs. Email subscriber information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it, except for what I need to honor that request.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You can ask me to confirm what information I hold about you, provide a copy, correct it, delete it, or stop marketing emails. Some information may need to be kept for legal or business reasons. I may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. To make a request, email [email protected].

9. Data Security

I use reasonable measures and rely on reputable providers to protect your information. No website, transmission, or storage method is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

My sessions and services are intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact me and I will delete it.

11. Visitors Outside the United States

I am based in the United States. If you access my website or services from elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where your local law gives you additional rights, I will respond to valid requests as that law requires.

12. Changes to This Policy

I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I'll change the Effective Date above.
